New lawns laid properly on prepared ground, from Dunsborough to Busselton, with the soil work and watering plan that gets turf through its first summer on the coast.

Turf on sandy Dunsborough soil fails when the ground underneath is not right. We strip and level the base, add soil and wetting agents so it holds water, lay the turf butted tight, then set up the watering and feeding that gets it rooted in. Repairs and re-turfing of tired lawns are done the same way.

Tired or weedy lawn stripped out and the area cleared ready for the base.
Soil brought in, profiled and levelled so water holds and the lawn sits flat.
Sandy, water-repellent ground treated so the new turf can actually drink.
Grass chosen for the site, delivered fresh and laid butted tight the same day.
Starter fertiliser down and a watering schedule set for the first weeks.
Patches, worn edges and dead areas cut out and relaid to match the rest.
The same preparation and standard, set up for your kind of property.

From the first call to the turf going down, this is how a turf job runs with us.
Autumn and spring are ideal, when the soil is warm but the heat has eased, so the turf roots in fast with less water. Summer laying is possible with a proper watering schedule. Winter is slower but still works.
Warm season grasses do best here. Couch and kikuyu handle full sun and wear, buffalo copes better with shade and salt air. We will recommend one for the site once we have seen it.
It depends on the area, how much ground work is needed and the grass type. We measure up, then send a fixed written quote within 24 hours that covers removal, preparation, turf and laying.
Keep off it for the first two weeks while it roots, then light use is fine. The first mow is usually two to three weeks in, once it has knitted to the ground.
Often, yes. Worn patches and dead areas can be cut out and relaid to match the existing grass, and thin lawns can be helped with aeration, feeding and overseeding before re-turfing is needed.
